Michele “~shell” Luccketta has been working with fundraisers and charities for over 30 years.

She started working with the homeless and making recording projects for the prisons and youth centers. That was in the 1980’s.

Since then she has worked with countless agencies and individuals, helping raise funds for a variety of causes.

We became a 501c in 2014

Artists4Change have already had a few projects under our belt.

~shell authored a book “The Golden Key” and a local kindergarten class illustrated it. All proceeds from sales were sent to The Monterey County Libraries fund, straight from the publisher. The Mayor spoke at the illustrator’s school and wrote the forward to the book on the importance of Artists4Change being anyone at any age.

We raised $9000. with a Phil Keaggy Benefit towards a much needed double lung transplant.

We raised $3000.00 for Christmas baskets for the needy by joining forces with local musicians and creating a Christmas CD.

We have had “left over” funds from said projects and we purchased blankets and meal cards and handed them out to the homeless in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. We continue this annually.

Thank you so very much for your help in making this happen. Artists4Change will educate and build up artists up. We will showcase their talents s they give back to their community, their world.

There are no limits to the possibilities. We sent one young man to Uganda; He taught dance to the youth. We bought art supplies for a graffiti artist and took him off the streets and into art galleries.

All this was done because of one thought adding to a thousand. It takes a village.
